Mood Boards
A series of three artist-designed skate decks that work as masks. Each one carries a single exaggerated face drawn in the bold line of classic animation and set against a field of pure color: Pout in blue, Gasp in yellow, Tantrum in red. Hold one up and it becomes a mask, but a mask that reveals the feeling instead of hiding it. Most of the time we cover our faces to look composed. Mood Boards lets the face underneath speak, whether that’s the quiet sulk, the open-mouthed shock, or the full meltdown. Ride them, hang them, or wear them. Edition Skate makes these skate decks for the true face behind the polite one.
Part of the Mood Board Series, Tantrum squeezes its eyes shut and lets out a full-volume yell against a fire-engine red ground. All attitude and zero chill, made to hang on the wall or take out your frustrations on the street.
Each custom skateboard is constructed from 7-ply Canadian maple wood for exceptional durability and performance.

Part of the Mood Board Series, Gasp captures that jaw-dropping, eyes-wide moment of pure disbelief on a sunny yellow ground. Bright, loud, and a little shocked, it’s a skate deck that reacts before you do.

Part of the Mood Board Series, Pout pairs worried eyes and a trembling frown with a wash of sky blue. A little cartoon heartbreak for the days that don’t go your way, made to display or ride.
